Back in business – League football is back and it is going to be a hectic few months!
MILLWALL vs ROTHERHAM – ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIP
Realistically speaking, Millwall won’t be making up the ten points needed to get in the play-offs. The Lions are the team with the most draws (16) in this division, and their win/loss is fairly balanced at 12-10.
While Gary Rowett has certainly improved Millwall, he will need to make some radical changes during the summer. The other issue we have with Millwall is they lack consistency.
Before we move on to the visitors, we just want to mention key players Matt Smith and Ryan Leonard won’t be available for the host. Kenneth Zahore and Maikel Kieftenbald are doubts!
Rotherham is still without Joe Mattock and Chiedozie Ogbene, but they only played 14 games between them this season. Others who will need to prove their fitness are Jamie Lindsay, and Clark Robertson!
It should be noted, relegation fighting Rotherham have 4 games in hand. While that will put pressure on resources, it does at least improve the Millers ‘ chances of survival. Furthermore, in their last match before the international break, Rotherham was excellent in the 0-2 win against Bristol City. Another recent win against Sheffield Wednesday is a good sign, and both those victories came on the road!
Rotherham will be fully motivated and they have been showing improved form of late!
BET: ROTHERHAM +/-0 (draw no bet)
